Our goal is to bring management staff and faculty together meaningfully across different disciplines on campus, and beyond. 

Since 2015, we have been enabling interdisciplinary dialogue with a purpose, such as:

• Strategic coordination of resources
• Combining efforts in applying for funding
• Developing collaborative research programs for greater effect
• Coordinate efforts to increase the ease and elevate the profile of collaboration on campus, across the University of California system, and across disciplines

A consortium of collaborative institutes and centers across campus work together each quarter to articulate a challenging issue that might benefit from both STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) and HASS (humanities and social sciences) perspectives. Through facilitated discussion, we empower researchers and the communities they work with to co-create new knowledge and broader impacts.
